The School of Banking and Finance has wide-ranging links with companies in the financial services industry. Many of our graduates hold positions within some of the largest commercial banks and financial institutions in the world.
Banking and Finance has close ties with professional and industry groups including the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has a register that lists finance courses that provide training compliant with ASIC's Regulatory Guide 146.

Co-op Program
The School is strongly supported by company sponsors in the UNSW Finance Studies Co-op program which was offered for the first time in 2005. The program provides ongoing links between the school, students and industry which will benefit students by not only providing them with valuable work experience but also will provide academic staff with the potential for research sites and the resources to build closer contact with industry.
